About the Program:

The Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program of Dragonfly Yoga at The Yoga Barre is a 200-hour curriculum registered with Yoga Alliance and upholds it’s standards.

Our program is built with busy people in mind.  Our year-long course is held once a month with two months off during the year, typically in June and July.  The weekend sessions are held Friday evenings through mid-day on Sunday.

Rather than one set style or sequence structure, our program explores many types of yoga so you can get a taste of various styles and find the one that resonates with you.  All of the forms we learn are Yoga Alliance approved styles, but vary from powerful practices of Vinyasa and Ashtanga to the more subtle practices of Yin and Restorative.  We learn about anatomy, history and teaching methods as well as yoga’s sister sciences of Ayurveda and meditation.

Students are given teaching assignments within the course so they can get positive feedback as they find their teaching voice.  We also help with resume’s, photos and finding teaching opportunities.
