I came to yoga in 2010 on a doctor’s suggestion. I felt fragile; my head was scattered, my heart would race, and my gut hurt. I was intimidated by yoga but willing to try anything for healing. After a few classes, I began to move with my breath and it was as if all of my pieces started coming back together. It’s that feeling of connectedness and strength that keeps me coming back to my mat! Fascinated by the mind-body connection and healing aspect of yoga, I completed the 230-hour teacher training program through the Yoga Center of Minneapolis. I continue to be inspired by teachers and students to learn more! My classes offer a playful atmosphere for students of all levels to deepen their practice, with the goal that that students leave their mats feeling a strong, supported and balanced.
